Shine
Creative Writing students and mentors of the Urban University youth, leadership program, of the Erie City Mission, created a book of short stories to encourage the soul. Students and mentors that were part of this course took on the challenge to consider, discover, and communicate lessons they felt they had learned through difficult moments and seasons in their lives.
Going off of our 2023 summer theme, “Shine”, we hope this compilation of personal stories, revelations that have been learned, and the outcome of growth will serve as an encouragement to you.
