A Sneak Peek?!
That’s right! We’re going to give you a sneak peek of our first book.
Currently, we’re still in the editing phase for our book, but will hear from our editors soon. We know you’re anxious to see the book come out, so we’d like to give you a glimpse of it.
And now, without further ado, The Motorbike Gang and the Chicago Bank Robberies.
Jerry put his head in his hands. “I’m bored.”
“Same here.” Billy pushed up his glasses.
Every once in a while, someone would come to their table and say hi. Sam would look up from his phone and force a smile, while Jerry and Billy politely engaged in a small conversation.
After a woman left their table, Jerry stood to his feet. “I saw a vending machine down the hall,” he said to Billy. “I’ll be right back.”
Jerry then left the room. As he walked down the hall, he passed a classroom. The door was slightly open, and voices were arguing.
“I don’t want any excuses!” a voice shouted. “We’re going to get the job done, with or without your help.”
“I’ll do better next time,” said another person.
“There won’t be a next time. You understand?”
Jerry heard footsteps heading for the door, so he hid inside the next classroom. He peeked his head out the room and saw a short man walking briskly down the hallway. I should follow him, Jerry thought.
When the man turned a corner, Jerry followed him. The man walked downstairs through a dark auditorium. Jerry started to follow, but soon tripped over a chair leg.
The short man looked over his shoulder. When he saw Jerry, he quickened his pace and exited a side door. Jerry leaped to his feet and hurried after him. But when he got to the door. . .
